The Pearl
The jewel of Tri Delta is pearl. Because it is the only jewel that grows, from a tiny grain of sand into a thing of great beauty, it is a symbol of the Fraternity's new members.
The Pine
The tree of Tri Delta is the pine tree. The pine is also a symbol of Tri Delta's collegiate members because it represents growth and lofty aspirations.
The Pansy
The pansy is Tri Delta's flower. It is also a symbol of alumnae membership and the third step in the lifetime development of Delta Delta Delta's members.
Hello and welcome to the Beta Upsilon chapter of Tri Delta at UC Irvine! Thank you so much for visiting our website. I hope it will give you a glance as to who we are and what it means to be a part of this chapter.
To our members, Beta Upsilon is a place where we can all be uniquely ourselves—a place for inspiration, compassion, and to call home amidst our large campus. Our sisterhood exceeds life in college, as we are building lifelong friendships and lasting memories.
Here, we are deeply rooted in our values of truth, self-sacrifice, and friendship, and we recognize their importance both within our chapter and throughout all aspects of our lives. Beyond our membership, we take pride in being greatly involved within Sorority and Fraternity Life, UCI, and the surrounding community. Our members have a diverse range of interests, and we uplift one another to explore them through different outlets while always having each other at the end of the day.
Being a member of this chapter since my freshman year, I am beyond thankful to have joined such a diverse chapter that has helped me find my footing and place on UCI's big campus. Not only have I held leadership positions that have taught me skills I would not have learned anywhere else, but have also made me become more confident in myself. I am surrounded by women who are true to themselves and strive to push their sisters to be their very best. These girls are more than just my best friends, but an actual family. We share an unbreakable bond and are an embodiment of being brave, bold, and kind.
